Minor Officiating

MINOR OFFICIATING

Paris Ringette needs volunteers to help control our games. We need scorekeepers, timekeepers and shotclockers, all of which are paid positions. Any new or seasoned minor officials can reach out to Carrie, our Ref in Chief, email her at refereeinchief@parisringette.com. If you are new to minor officiating, just let Carrie know and she can arrange for someone to train you.

Timekeeping

 Record goals, put up penalties and control the clock during games. 


Shotclocking

 Reset and stop the shot clocks during the game. Shotclocks are reset based off of shots, penalties and changes of possession. Shotclockers must be diligent to ensure a fair outcome in the game.
