REP Regional Teams
We are excited to announce that we will host Regional Teams at all age levels including Fun2, Fun3/U10B, U12B, U14B, and U16B for the 2023/24 season.
Regional REP "B" Teams (Ages 8 - 18)
- A typical season consists of 20 league games and participation in 2 to 4 tournaments.
- Home games are played on weekends (ie: Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon/evening).
- Away games are played on weekends within Southern Region boundaries.
- Teams have a weekly practice.
- Additional ice time for ringette and skating skill development will be available throughout the ringette season.
- Regional REP teams progress to the Southern Region Ringette Championships at the end of the season.
- REP teams in the Under 12, 14, 16 and 19 age groups are planned (based on age on December 31st, 2022).
- A Fun2 Team will be formed in November/December
- Fun 3/U10 team will be formed in October from those registered in Novice House League
- Additional fees for participating on the Fun3/U10 or Fun2 Teams will be determined when the teams are organized.
- Equipment: Sport Skates (not figure skates), CSA approved helmet with chin strap (no bicycle helmets permitted), hockey gloves, BNQ certified neck protector, Elbow, Shoulder and shin pads, ringette girdle and pants - or - hockey pants and socks, athletic protector, ringette stick & face mask
