In order to participate, all players must be registered with Ringette Ontario for insurance coverage. Any players from outside ringette, please email president@parisringette.com

A TRYOUT PROCESS REGISTRATION, SESSION DATES & COST

HOW TO REGISTER:

1. Please read Equal Opportunity for Access: Part of Ringette Ontario's team formation guideline refers to the gender make-up of a team. Please read Equal Access for Participation for information and some FAQs. You will be asked to confirm you have read the material and your willingness to play on female-only, mixed, or male-only teams during the tryout registration process. 
2. Please note that overage players cannot be rostered on A teams.
3. Please register by clicking on the registration link below for each player you are registering. 
4. Southern Region Provincial Expectations Forms need to be completed and signed by the player and the parent/Guardian prior to stepping on first tryout ice for all Associations. These forms can be email to admin@parisringette.com or a hard copy must be handed in before tryouts. 

TRYOUT PARTICIPATION COSTS: 

U14A

Cost is $40 which guarantees two tryout sessions. The remaining tryouts are by invitation only to be determined after the second tryout. Once invited, players will pay an additional $20 tryout fee. Payments are made in cash at the tryout location (see below chart for dates and location of tryouts).

U16A

Cost is $40 which guarantees two tryout sessions. The remaining tryouts are by invitation only to be determined after the second tryout. Once invited, players will pay an additional $20 tryout fee. Payments are made in cash at the tryout location (see below chart for dates and location of tryouts).

RELEASES

No player needs a release to try out for any team. A release is required in order to accept a spot on a team outside of one's home association. PRA home association players will not be released to play outside the association except in the following circumstances:

1. the player is offered a spot on a level of team that PRA is not offering (i.e., U16AA, U19AA)
2. the player is offered a spot on a team that PRA is offering, but PRA will not be offering the player a spot (i.e., a player is "cut")

Tryouts can be a stressful time for players, coaches, and volunteers. Please be kind and respectful when communicating either in person or via email. Because associations have tryouts at separate times, there may be some waiting required for releases. No player will be released outside the association for a team PRA offers unless that player has also attended PRA tryouts.
